2025 Vedic Astrology Trends and Predictions

2025 will be an action packed year and I will write in more detail about each transit as they approach. The first big change will take place in March 2025 after eclipses, when Saturn, lord of karma will move into Pisces.

Saturn’s transit through Pisces

Saturn will enter the last zodiac sign of Pisces on March 29th, 2025. The last time Saturn was transiting Pisces was approximately 29,5 years ago as this is how long it takes for Saturn to complete the full cycle through all zodiac signs. You can think back of events that were happening in your life from February 1996 — April 1998.

When Saturn transits a sign, it tends to bring structure and restriction ot its energies. Pisces is the most unbounded sign that transcends all limitations, longs for unity with the divine and believes in ‘all is one’ paradigm. Saturn does not particularly feel good here and struggles to create structure.

Nodes of the Moon Rahu and Ketu

Nodes of the moon will change signs on May 29th. Ketu will enter Leo, and Rahu will enter Aquarius. Leo and Aquarius axis brings forth themes of inidividual vs collective, one vs many. People might realize the power of community and revolutionize the way they view community, groups, and its functions.

Rahu in Aquarius most likely will bring further explosion of AI, brand new technologies, more cryptocurrencies adoption, innovation that will revolutionize the world we know today. Ketu’s transit through Leo will bring challenges to monarchy, governments, leadership, centralization of all types. The world is moving towards decentralization. Some might argue that new technology is “soulless” but at the same time it’s a necessary step in the evolution of humanity.

Eclipses this year

Note down the days of eclipses and schedule important events 2 weeks before and 1 week after eclipses corridors (time between solar and lunar eclipses that’s two weeks long) are inauspicious for any important events, such as trips, weddings, purchases, projects, etc. We are going to have the last set of eclipse on Virgo/Pisces axis in March.

March 13th, 2025 (Total Lunar Eclipse) at 23:58 PST

March 29th, 2025 (Solar Eclipse) at 3:47 am PST

Nodes of the Moon will move into Leo and Aquarius in May of 2025. The first set of eclipses will be happening in September on Leo/Aquarius axis.

September 7th, 2025 (Total Lunar Eclipse) at 11:11 am PST

September 21st, 2025 (Solar Eclipse) at 12:41 pm PST

Eclipses of March are going to be intense since Saturn will be in gandanta, last degrees of Aquarius and about to enter Pisces. Transition points are always points of uncertainty and instability. During both eclipses of March majority of planets will be positioned in nakshatras symbolized by a “funeral cot” which might trigger an event that causes loss of life.

Mars will aspect Ketu, which by itself it not a big deal, but considering the situation with all other planets, adds to the tipping point of making this month to be remembered and not in a good way.

Both nakstratras Purva Bhadrapada and Uttara Bhadrapada are related to element of water but also heat or burning. They are called “the scorching pair” and represent things that are hot and burning.

Shrapit Yoga: Saturn and Rahu conjunction

Shrapit Yoga is an astrological yoga formed when Saturn and Rahu are in conjunction in the chart. The term “Shrapit” translates to “cursed,” indicating karmic implications from past lives that manifest as challenges in this lifetime.

Shrapit Yoga will be formed from March 29th — May 29th.

These two months might bring collective anxiety, fears, and uncertainty about the future. Pisces is a watery sign, and the conjunction of Saturn and Rahu in Pisces can indicate significant events related to oceans, rivers, or water bodies. These may include natural disasters (e.g., tsunamis, floods, storms, torrential rain, etc) or issues surrounding water resources, such as disputes or scarcity.

On a positive note, this yoga challenges humanity to overcome divisions and work collectively towards healing and compassion. It may inspire movements for universal well-being, humanitarian efforts, or a renewed focus on spiritual practices that promote global unity. Pisces governs hidden realms. This yoga could bring to light secretive political or societal issues, leading to revelations that shake public confidence. There could be border restrictions and border crisises.

To give some perspective, Shrapit Yoga was formed during Cold War in 1956. Significant global tensions and nuclear arms race caused a lot of fear on a global scale. However, Saturn and Rahu were transiting sign of Scorpio then for almost a year. This transit will last only 2 months so its effect will not be as intense.

In 1968, Shrapit Yoga was formed in Pisces and was marked by Vietnam War escalation and public protests against it. This was the time when Martin Luther King and Robert F Kennedy were assassinated.

Jupiter in Gemini

Jupiter will finish its transit through Taurus on May 14th and move into Gemini. Jupiter will be in mutual aspect with Rahu for the rest of the year bringing to focus technological advancement, unconventional thinking, new knowledge, and innovations.

Jupiter will bring expansion to naturally curious and intellectual sign of Gemini. There will be expansion in communication and media. Knowledge will be passed quickly and there will be significant progress in areas involving coding, data exchange, and digital platforms.

It will further bring integration of new technologies into educational systems, such as online learning platforms or AI-driven tools. There will birth of ideas leading to significant technological leaps.

In conclusion, the first four months might be volatile, but situation will calm down after May 2025. This is all part of the divine plan.
